- A shared folder link with the original recordings (screen captures, camera clips, voice files), not copies squeezed through a chat app
- Who the video is for: new staff, customers, partners or the public
- Where it will live: a help center, an LMS, YouTube, an intranet page or inside your product
- A script, outline or list of steps, even a rough one
- Anything that must be hidden: names, emails, account numbers, customer records
- Your logo, colors and fonts, and any slide or video template you already use
- The date you need it and the person who signs off
